Empowering Young Girls: Respack's Feminine Care Workshop at SJK (C) Chung Hwa 3
Today, the Respack team had the opportunity to conduct a Personal Feminine Care Workshop at SJK (C) Chung Hwa 3, Penang. This program aimed to give young girls early exposure to the importance of personal hygiene and self-care during their menstrual cycle.
Throughout the session, we shared essential knowledge such as: ✅ What menstruation is and how it happens ✅ Common misconceptions about periods – like "periods are dirty" or "you can't shower during your period" ✅ How to manage hygiene during menstruation ✅ How to choose the right sanitary pad according to daily activities and personal needs
More importantly, this workshop was designed to help them overcome fear, understand their own bodies better, and not feel ashamed when they experience their first period. We believe knowledge builds confidence, and confidence leads to empowerment.
We also introduced our special feminine care products: 🌸 Malaysia’s first Ultra Thin sanitary pad with a Hyaluronic Acid top sheet, offering exceptional softness and comfort 🩲 Cozy Pants – disposable underwear designed for maximum comfort, especially during heavy flow days or at night
The response from both students and teachers was incredibly positive. They were engaged, curious, and eager to learn. At the end of the session, we handed out free gifts of our products for them to try at home.
As a token of appreciation, the school’s Principal, Madam Ong Seok Ling, presented the Respack team with a certificate of appreciation. We are truly grateful for the invitation and hope to continue spreading awareness on feminine hygiene and self-care to more young girls in the future.
