Respack strongly encourages our employees to lead an active lifestyle, believing that a healthy and active life will lead to better well-being, thus ultimately showing improved and efficient performance.
Our team at Respack had great fun at the Global Community Run in Kepala Batas last week! Despite the rain, it did not deter our team spirit and we even won 2 hampers for the lucky draw!
The positive effects of exercise on work performance span far and wide. In addition to sharpening mental performance, regular physical activity improves time-management skills, which in turn improve employees’ ability to meet deadlines. Business owners who offer company exercise programs find that on-site exercise decreases turnaround time. Workers who ate healthy meals and exercised on a regular basis had better job performance and lower absenteeism, research from the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) shows.
The research also shows that employees who eat healthy all day long were 25% more likely to have higher job performance, while those who eat more servings of fruit and vegetables at least four times a week were 20% more likely to be more productive. In addition, employees who exercise for at least 30 minutes, three times a week, were 15% more likely to have higher job performance.
