💙 RESPACK Promotes Menstrual Health Awareness at SJKC Choong Hwa
RESPACK recently organised a menstrual health education session at SJKC Choong Hwa, aimed at providing upper primary school girls with essential knowledge about puberty, personal hygiene, and self-confidence during their growing years. The session was conducted in a supportive and welcoming environment, allowing students to learn openly and comfortably.
The programme focused on helping students understand the physical changes that occur during puberty and recognise menstruation as a natural and healthy part of development. Through the sharing session, the girls were encouraged to develop positive hygiene habits and gain confidence in managing their personal care during their school routines and daily lives.
One of the key highlights of the session was the practical demonstration conducted by the ACTIV team. Students were introduced to the correct usage of ACTIV sanitary pads, including ACTIV Ultra Thin Pads, which are designed for comfort, reliable absorbency, and a slim, discreet fit suitable for active school days. The team also explained important practices such as proper pad usage, regular changing, and hygienic disposal methods.
To reinforce their learning, each participant received a sample pack to take home. This allowed the girls to become more familiar with menstrual care products and practise what they had learned with greater confidence. The session also encouraged open conversations, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of menstrual health.
