💙 RESPACK Expands School Outreach to Selangor at Peninsula International School Australia
RESPACK recently conducted a menstrual health education session at Peninsula International School Australia, Selangor, marking our first-ever school outreach programme in Selangor. It was a meaningful milestone for our team, and we felt truly honoured to be given the opportunity to engage with students in a new community.
The session focused on equipping upper primary school girls with essential knowledge about puberty, menstrual hygiene, and personal confidence during their developmental years. Conducted in a welcoming and supportive environment, the programme encouraged open learning and helped students better understand the natural changes their bodies experience.
Throughout the talk, students were guided to view menstruation as a normal and healthy part of growing up. The discussion emphasised proper hygiene practices, self-awareness, and the importance of maintaining comfort and confidence in school and daily life.
A key highlight of the session was the hands-on demonstration by the ACTIV team. Students were introduced to the proper use of ACTIV sanitary pads, including ACTIV Ultra Thin Pads, known for their slim fit, dependable absorbency, and discreet comfort suitable for active school routines. Clear instructions were provided on correct usage, changing practices, and hygienic disposal to ensure students felt informed and prepared.
Each participant also received a sample pack to take home, allowing them to become more familiar with menstrual care products and reinforce what they had learned. The interactive segment encouraged questions and healthy discussions, helping to create a positive and stigma-free perspective on menstrual health.
