RESPACK Conducts Menstrual Hygiene Education Program at SJK(C) Kampung Valdor
RESPACK recently carried out a community-focused school outreach program at SJK(C) Kampung Valdor, aimed at providing upper primary school girls with essential knowledge on menstrual hygiene and personal well-being. Held in a welcoming and supportive setting, the session guided students in understanding physical changes during puberty, normalizing menstruation as a natural part of life, and strengthening their confidence in managing daily hygiene.
One of the highlights of the program was an interactive demonstration conducted by the Activ team, where students were shown the correct way to use Activ sanitary pads. Participants were introduced to Activ Ultra Thin Pads and their features, including strong absorbency, comfortable wear, and a slim, discreet design suitable for school routines. Proper methods for application, removal, and responsible disposal were also clearly explained.
To reinforce the learning beyond the classroom, each participant received a sample pack to take home, allowing them to become more familiar with menstrual care products and apply what they had learned. The session also encouraged open communication, giving students the opportunity to ask questions, address common misunderstandings, and build healthy and positive menstrual hygiene habits.
